10 things to do this summer

Hi! Awesome people. As summer is coming ever so close and it's nearly the end of  the school year, we couldn't stop ourselves from giving you "10 things to do this summer."  For an unforgettable summer, check these awesome tips out.

10) Go on a walk and take pictures of trees, flowers and anything strange. It is a good way to get to know your neighbourhood.








9) Buy some fashion magazines, pick out a couple of really cute outfits, and try to create some cool collages.

8) Write a poem with these instructions:

.describe the noun with two adjectives
.write a fact about the noun
.write a similie about the noun
.write another similie about the noun
.write about your feelings towards the noun
.repeat the noun
.write a thought about the noun

7. Have a sleepover party.

6) Make a mixed CD of your favorite songs and title it "The soundtrack of my life". Use the official top 40 chart to help you.





















5)Read a book based on a movie you have seen.

3) Make a scrapbook to store all these activities in with pictures and descriptions.

Get your friends to help you customize your book and sign their signatures. Take endless heaps of photos this summer and stick them in. All these memories are going to be stored for a lifetime.

2) Give your room a makeover. Dont you just love it when  you know exactly where everything is in your room, and you can just smile as the sun beams through it. Well i know i do. so give your room a total change and trust us, you will love it. Get your friends involved or your mum and dad.

We absolutely cannot let you read this blog without recommending some good books to read. so enjoy some of our favorite picks.
Now if you loved the movie-like us- then the books are going to blow your mind. All three books have a hidden surprise waiting to be discovered. you will be gobsmacked when you read the mysteries and action that takes place in all three books. Katnis and Peeta both grow stronger but in the second book, you start to love their relationship until... the third book. The third book not only brings back some sad memories, but it maneuvers round the questions in all our heads. so go on and buy all three books. a good summer read. ( 12 years and over can read this)
.million dollar mates
 
 Now, we have a cute love story for you preteens. We loved how Jess had to make decision about which boy to go for.If you love stories about first love and famous girls, then this is the book for you. We love how all the characters are very different and not the same. Having opposite characters makes the book more interesting. Jess lives in a very fab hotel where it is strictly celebs only.
Lucky for her, her dad works there so she has access to some of the coolest celebs. It's her knowledge on the occupants of the hotel that lead her into entering a fashion competition. With the help of her famous,stylish friends, she does her best. So check out this book if you have doubts in your friendships. (11 years and over can read this)

.There's a boy in the girls bathroom
 
 Awww! Bradley Chalkers is the boy to stay away from at school. He creeps and scares all the kids at school out and so they avoid him altogether. Sitting in the last seat,and last row of his class, Bradley hardly ever tries to join in on class projects. So much so that his teacher gave up too. Hopefully, this all changes when the new school counselor meets him. We think this book shows how we are all different on the inside but are taken for what we look on the outside. This book is definitely make you cry. watch out for the clues of how the main character changes. But also ask yourself this, Would you be friends with Bradley Chalkers. (8 years and over can read this)

But she soon discovers there is much more to this whole Cinderella story than she had realized -- her mother came from another world, and Maud and Arise are being manipulated by an evil queen from that world who wants a magical item Coriander's mother left behind. This book not only adds to the whole cinderella theory, but shows you life in a proper fairytale. (11 yrs old and over can read this)

.The 5 people you meet in heaven
 
Okay so now its time for one of those books that you read and then start to question why we are here. Here at the latest, we love stories that make us think or ponder on life. So i wouldn't hesitate in recommending this awesome book. Eddie is a wounded war veteran, an old man who has lived, in his mind, an uninspired life. His job is fixing rides at a seaside amusement park. On his 83rd birthday, a tragic accident kills him as he tries to save a little girl from a falling cart. He awakes in the afterlife, where he learns that heaven is not a destination. It's a place where your life is explained to you by five people, some of whom you knew, others who may have been strangers. One by one, from childhood to soldier to old age, Eddie's five people revisit their connections to him on earth, illuminating the mysteries of his "meaningless" life, and revealing the haunting secret behind the eternal question: "Why was I here?" We love how the authur has brought in at the beggining of each chapter a flash back on one of Eddie's birthdays. And the way he met all these 5 people was very real like as if to say to you or me, you have met some of these people but you dont know this yet. So deffinetly grab this with eyes wide open. (13 years and over can read this)
.Sara's face
 Okay so if you love the unusual but yet life lesson teaching type of  book, then this one is perfect. (recommended for 15 yrs and over) 
Sara may only be 16, but she knows her own mind. Unfortunately this means that she has decided that her face is not her own. And now she is in the clutches of unscrupulous psychiatrists who say she has “Karel’s Syndrome,” and that the only cure is to have a new face. Enter the infamous aging singer Jonathan Heat, who has had so much plastic surgery on his face that it is now irredeemably unpleasant. He will pay for an operation that will give him Sara’s face: and Sara will get a transplant. Now dont be creeped out by the sypnosis becuase the story behind the whole cover is quite gripping. it sort of shows what most teenagers have to go through to find themselves. And Sara has been influenced by her surruoundings alot that she doesnt see the beauty she holds. When you finish reading this, listen to the song below:

Celeb Of The Month

We present to you, our favorite star of the month...
Zendaya Coleman. "Hiya, heya, oi, aloha, hola, Nǐ Hǎo, bonjour" Also known as Rocky blue on the hit Disney show- shake it up.This inspirational teen was born on September 1st of the year 1996. Being fifteen, Zendaya shows a very mature attitude towards everyone. She loves putting on make up just like you and me:

 

Zendaya Coleman is super stylish, so it’s no surprise to us that she used to love to play dress up when she was little!

THis beautiful angel has not only met JUSTIN BIEBER.... she has met Mindless behavior, Selena gomez and other amazing celebs. Zendaya is an actor on only the most incredible show on TV.... Shake it up.  

 
We love the dancing on shake it up and cant wait for the movie.

But no girl can survive without her bffffffffffff.
We love how these two amazing people bond and share so much in common. Although we are jealous that Bella gets to hang with Zendaya, they make a cute friendship. We love how we can watch there friendship grow and where it takes them.

Zendaya currently lives in Los Angeles with her family and dog, a Giant Schnauzer named Midnight. Her interests include singing, dancing and designing clothes. Zendaya hopes that just as theater led her to television, Shake It Up will someday lead her to opportunities in the music industry. In October 2010, Zendaya told Variety, "I love singing and would love to record an album at some point."

 Even though she loves acting, she also likes spending time on the mic. Zendaya released her first song- swag it out last year and it was fab.

If you thought that was it, she then released an awesome song encouraging us to dig down deeper. 

She has also starred in the new season of ant farm, was a voice in the pixie hollow games. And featured in this brilliant movie- FRENEMIES. 

 

And lastly, because she is just unbelievably cool, she won a young artist award. Now that is cool.
